Day 227- The Ryan's Taco Thursday

Ground Beef Tacos:
These are simple to make, somewhat healthier than most, and delicious! Hope you enjoy

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound organic grass-fed ground beef
  • 1/2 packet Trader Joe's Taco Seasoning
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 Red Chili Pepper, diced
  • Trader Joes's guacamole (comes in a box with two pouches, best pre-made guacamole I have found) or you can always make homemade guacamole
  • Salsa
  • Fresh Cilantro from our garden
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese or Goat cheese
  • Corn Tortillas, rice tortillas (if gluten-free) or Baby spinach (if would prefer to make a taco salad)
Directions:
  1. Saute onions in tablespoon of coconut oil for about 5 minutes
  2. Add ground beef and red chili pepper, cook until meat is no longer pink
  3. Add 1/2 package of taco seasoning
  4. In separate pan place one tortilla at a time, flipping it to warm each side
  5. Place choice of condiments inside tortilla and enjoy!
