We all know processed foods are bad for you, but now we can see a video of how our bodies actually handle processed foods (which isn't very well). Stefani Bardin shows us what happens in our bodies when we eat processed foods verse homemade versions of similar foods, by using a tiny LED/camera capsule called the "M2A," which stands for Mouth to Anus. The video looks at two subjects that are eating two similar meals. One subject eats a meal composed of processed foods; top ramen, gatorade, and gummi bears. The second subject eats a similar meal, but of the homemade variety; homemade broth with noodles, a hibiscus drink, and gummi bears made of juice. The video is called TEDxManhattan, and you will soon see why some foods are meant to be eaten, while others are meant to survive forever.
Pura Vida!
