Day 232- Book Review: Nourishing Traditions

I can't believe that it has taken me 232 days to share with you the book that changed my outlook on nutrition! Nourishing Traditions, written by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig is a book that I would highly recommend to anyone that is interested in nutrition or feeding their family a healthy diet.

I don't know how many times I have referred to the first part of this book, "politically correct nutrition"; learning or reminding myself the importance of certain nutrients and how to allow my body thrive with the proper food. It covers topics such as fats, oil, special diets, how to properly prepare foods, etc.

There are also amazing recipes that are included as well. Nourishing Traditions can teach you how to make your own fermented foods, healthy sauces, meals, drinks, snacks, and even nutritious treats. The recipes are easy to follow, the ingredients are easily accessible, and the outcomes are exceptional.

This book is must have for everyone's kitchen!
