Day 315- Meatloaf
Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds 100% grass fed organic ground beef
- 3 carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 2 organic free-range eggs
- 21 seasoning spice from Trader Joe's
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- dash of sea salt
- dash of fresh ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon gluten-free mustard
- 1/4 organic, high-fructose corn syrup free ketchup
Directions:
- Lightly saute celery, carrots, onion, and mushrooms in a pan with olive oil
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix ground meat with 2 eggs, and the seasonings
- Once vegetables have softened slightly mix them in with the meat mixture
- Cook for one hour in a glass baking dish
- Mix sugar, mustard, and ketchup together
- Take dish out and spoon out the excess liquid
- Evenly spread the mustard mixture over the top of the meat dish
- Cook for an additional 10 mintutes
