Day 315- Meatloaf

Meatloaf

Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds 100% grass fed organic ground beef
  • 3 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, diced
  • 2 organic free-range eggs
  • 21 seasoning spice from Trader Joe's
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • dash of sea salt
  • dash of fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon gluten-free mustard
  • 1/4 organic, high-fructose corn syrup free ketchup
Directions:
  1. Lightly saute celery, carrots, onion, and mushrooms in a pan with olive oil
  2. Preheat oven to 350
  3. Mix ground meat with 2 eggs, and the seasonings
  4. Once vegetables have softened slightly mix them in with the meat mixture
  5. Cook for one hour in a glass baking dish
  6. Mix sugar, mustard, and ketchup together
  7. Take dish out and spoon out the excess liquid
  8. Evenly spread the mustard mixture over the top of the meat dish
  9. Cook for an additional 10 mintutes
