I turned the big 3-0 today! So to celebrate here are 30 health tips that I want to share (in no particular order):
- Don't skip breakfast, make sure to include a good source of protein
- Avoid processed foods
- Drink plenty of water, rule of thumb- drink half your body weight in ounces and more if you drink coffee or workout
- Buy organic
- Eat free-range organic chicken
- Eat 100% grass fed beef
- Exercise
- Take time for yourself
- Get tested for nutritional deficiencies on a regular basis
- Eliminate sugar
- Supply your body with heathy bacteria
- Get plenty of healthy fats
- Reduce inflammation by eliminating allergic foods
- Research your beauty products and what you put on your body
- Partake in regular cleanses
- Get plenty of vitamin D
- Avoid GMO crops
- Avoid soy unless fermented
- Eat plenty of fish, but avoid farm-raised
- Get plenty of good sleep
- Avoid getting amalgam fillings
- Eat a good source of protein with each meal
- Reduce you exposure to outside estrogens or xeno-estrogens
- Soak your nuts and grains
- Eat plenty of vegetables
- Eat low glycemic fruits
- Avoid trans fats and hydrogenated oils
- Avoid low-fat or fat free products
- Get fresh air
- Enjoy dark chocolate!
